Bryan Gee Design

Bryan Gee / work

I am a graphic designer and
visual editor specializing in branding, publicity, newspaper, magazine and book design.
I collaborate on projects with editors, publishers, architects, curators, visual artists and musicians. My own experience
as an artist, writer, curator and editor enriches and informs
my current design work.
Bryan Gee Design is an independent design studio
based in Toronto.

I am currently a Design Editor
at The Globe and Mail, Canada's national newspaper, and
Senior Associate Art Director
of Globe Style.
Previous full time positions as Senior Designer at Bruce Mau Design, Saturday Night, Art Gallery of Ontario and NOW Magazine.
At NOW Magazine, I was in charge of major redesigns for the paper and its website nowtoronto.com.
At Bruce Mau Design I led one of the studio's four teams, providing creative direction on projects with the Museum of Modern Art, Gagosian Gallery, Zone Books, Deutsche Bank Art and others.
During its incarnation as a weekend magazine at the National Post, I worked at Saturday Night as a member of the three-person team, responsible for the ambitious redesign of the magazine.
